My child wants to play, but we are on a waitlist ...

 

This post in early January.      AYSO 183 has historically played its " full season " that follows a school year with no Winter soccer season.     A player registers for a full season which is Fall and Spring.

So if you are looking to join AYSO 183,  you are to register in May and June for the Sept, Oct and April, May, and June soccer play.     

Starting in July, a wait list is formed.     Volunteer coaches are assigned in July, Players are assigned teams in July.    New and returning players who have registered in May and June are placed on teams with volunteer coaches.   Players are assigned to teams based on the AYSO National Philosophy "Balanced Teams".      No question.   That is a fact.

If teams that do not have volunteer, these teams as a whole are also placed on wait lists and players who have registered in May and June need to have a volunteer coach, team manager, and referee.   That is the priority.

Register early.   Get it over with.  Volunteer, contribute and players will thank you.
